"Hulda supported me throughout my first pregnancy, and was with me as a doula during the early stages of my labour at home. She gave support and advice on positions to ease my discomfort and showed my partner how to do some gentle massage which was blissful.  Her presence at home gave me the confidence to stay calm and quiet until things had progressed to a certain point that the hospital would take me straight into a delivery suite – which they did.
Hulda knew exactly how I wanted my labour to go, and respected that all the time she was with us. She never crowded us, and was able to help my partner understand what was going on, and what to expect through the later stages of labour.
