Fast Forward: Semi private antenatal
classes
The Fast forward course is a simple, straight to the point programme that
allows for couples, in a semi-private setting, to receive the information
that traditional group classes provide. It is very compact and
although discussions are a part of the programme, it will not allow for an
in-depth explanation of different methods of birthing of parenting but
rather the most common choices that parents have and make in Hong Kong. Teaching aids, slides and handouts
are used.
Each session is 3 hours, with a short break for snacks. The first
session covers the birth, including how to cope with contractions, when to
go to hospital and medical interventions - and everything between.
The second session is about breastfeeding, baby care and the first days
after the birth.
This course costs 2900 HKD.
