Midwifery care during labour at home.  This service ensures that you receive the maximum support from a known carer at home, before going to the hospital.  One of the midwives will be on call and then attend to the labour at home when the time comes.  You meet with her early on in the pregnancy and she will follow you through, until the baby is born.  This personal and exclusive care is a popular choice of people who want to have their baby in hospital but desire as natural childbirth as possible, and with minimal use of medical technology. 

This care is for those who recognize the value of staying at home during the first part of labour but may not feel confident in being completely alone once labour gets going.  When more medical assistance is needed during the labour and birth, the midwife will support and guide you so that you can appreciate that this is needed, and be able to value the help rather than being left with negative feelings and frustration.  Luckily, the statistics speak  for them selves here and most people who have continuous professional support have a very good chance to have a good birth experience. 

The midwife will make sure that your partner is supported as well - both so that he can help you but also to reduce any fear or anxieties that he may have.  The midwife does not replace the partner, but compliments him and assist you to work together. 

Please understand that once a booking has been made and payment received, all payments are non-refundable. All packages are to be paid fully in advance. Postnatal packages are to be used within the first 12 weeks after birth.
